The second set of organising includes :
What type of
wedding dress and accessories would you like? Do you want to have one designed and made especially for you? You also need
to decide on a colour scheme and start thinking about dresses and accessories for any bridesmaids that you have. The grooms
and ushers outfits will need to be decided on; are they to be bought or hired?
Finally you will need to organise :
The wedding
cake; if this is to be a traditional fruit cake most places require 3-6 months notice. You may also want to sort out your
honeymoon, especially if you’re planning to travel somewhere which requires injections. The flowers and stationery need
to be chosen. Guest accommodation and transport may be required. You will also have decide on things such as favours, a gift
registry, wedding rings, presents for the bridesmaids, best man and family. You’ll need to decide on hair and make-up
for the wedding party and then there are all those extras you might want such as toastmaster, calligrapher, fireworks, balloons
or children’s entertainer.
You should
also remember that after the wedding day any items you hired will need to be returned and ensure you appoint someone to deal
with this. You may also wish to preserve your bouquet.
